The Registrar of Political Parties will this week make a presentation at the 3rd Annual Devolution Conference scheduled for 20th-23rd April 2016 at Meru National Polytechnic, Meru County.
Mrs. Lucy Ndungu would attend as panelist at the conference slated for Friday, 22 April 2016.
“My thematic area is Roadmap to 2017 elections: Electoral Integrity in a Devolved system,” she said. The Registrar further stated that her “presentation would cover her role as a leader in ensuring fairness, accountability, transparency and peace in the upcoming elections”.
This will be an opportunity to answer public questions on the role of the Office of the Registrar of Political Parties in ensuring democracy and fostering realization of gender equality in Kenya. Delegates will also have precious opportunity to understand ORPP’s undertakings in the regulation and funding of political parties.
