Police spokesperson  holds talks with ORPP

The National Police Service Spokesperson, Muchiri Nyaga, held discussions with ORPP team led by Assistant Registrars, Ali Abdullahi and CPA Florence Birya on 11th September 2025. The discussions explored ways of forging  collaborative initiatives to foster peace during the upcoming November By-elections and the 2027 General Election.

Assistant Registrar Ali Abdullahi emphasized the significance of such engagements in promoting peaceful electoral processes. “We will continue to work closely with the National Police Service and other stakeholders to ensure a peaceful electoral environment that upholds the political rights of all citizens,” he stated.

Assistant Registrar, CPA Florence Birya underscored the importance of adherence to the Political Parties Code of Conduct, advocating for ongoing capacity building among electoral stakeholders.

“These collaborations will promote best practices in enhancing safety and ensuring peaceful elections,” she noted.
