On June 14th, 2026, Registrar J.C. Lorionokou and his team held discussions with Royal Media Services Managing Director Wachira Waruru and his team at Royal Media Services’ headquarters, exploring ways the two institutions could deepen their working relationship in the lead-up to the 2027 electoral cycle.
The discussions centred on joint partnership, co-creation of public interest content, and political engagement anchored in the shared responsibility of ORPP and Royal Media Services to ensure Kenyans are well informed about political parties and how they work.

“This engagement is part of ORPP’s commitment to public communication and equipping citizens with knowledge of political parties’ operations and functions so they can make informed decisions and meaningfully hold political parties to account,” said the Registrar.
