ORPP welcomes young professionals, interns, orients to public service standards

ORPP held an orientation session for posted interns and attaches joining ORPP, some of whom are through the Public Service Commission of Kenya. The session held on 19th March 2025 was meant to onboard the new budding professionals to ORPP standards of service.

Registrar of Political Parties, Ann Nderitu, CBS, welcomed the new officers, congratulating them on their postings. She assured them of ORPP as an institution of choice that will be a springboard to their careers.

“I call on you to uphold highest professionalism as part of our core values and bring forth your creative and innovative ideas to better serve our stakeholders”, Registrar guided.

The ORPP officers from various departments exposed the youngsters to a raft of ORPP processes and service expectations in the larger public service.

Some of the areas they were sensitized to were on Political Parties Act cap 7D, organizational structure, public officer ethics, registration and compliance of political parties, ICT, Finance, professional media engagement among others.The occasion was spearheaded by the HRM department.
