REGISTRATION AND FIELD SERVICES COORDINATION DIRECTORATE

The Directorate is headed by Assistant Registrar of Political Parties. The functions of the directorate are management of registration, ICT and field services.

The Directorate is comprised of one department and three Sections as indicated below:

  • Registration and Field Services department
  • Registration Section
  • Field Services Section
  • ICT Section
 

REGULATION AND COMPLIANCE DIRECTORATE 

The Directorate is headed by Assistant Registrar of Political Parties. The functions of the directorate are to ensure political parties comply with the provisions of the Political Parties Act, political parties’ capacity building and management of political parties’ records

The directorate comprises of one department and three (3) Sections as indicated below:

  • Compliance and Regulation Department
  • Compliance Section
  • Political Parties Capacity Building Section
  • Records Management Section

 


POLITICAL PARTIES FUND, PARTNERSHIPS & STRATEGY DIRECTORATE

The Directorate is headed by Assistant Registrar of Political Parties. The roles of the directorate are; administration of the Political Parties Fund,  management of human resources and administration; Finance & Accounts management; Planning & Research and Partnerships functions.

The Directorate is comprised of two (2) Departments and three (3) Sections as follows:

  • Finance and Accounts Department
  • Human Resource Management & Administration Department

  • Planning, Research & Innovation Section
  • Resource Centre Section
  • Partnerships and Linkages Section
 
 

INDEPENDENT UNITS

There are four independent units Headed by Assistant Directors, who will report directly to the Registrar. The independent units are

  • Corporate Communications Unit – in charge of coordination of information, education, manage customer experience and spearhead communication-related policies and strategies.
  • Legal Services Unit – provide legal advisory services and drafting, maintenance and review of legal instruments
  • Supply Chain Management Unit – in charge of procurement planning, procurement of goods, works & services and maintenance of inventory of assets.
  • Internal Audit Unit – provide advisory services to ensure existence and compliance of sound internal control systems and coordinate audit and risk management activities.
