In the visit, the team shared moments with Warren and the family including issues some Christmas goodies in form of food items. The team also mentored the beneficiary giving insights of how he would fair well in his studies and overall conduct.
“You are a beacon of hope to the entire family, therefore make the best out of this kind support that comes from voluntary and personal contributions from ORPP staff. I convey warm regards and wishes of the ORPP fraternity”, said Ms. Beatrice Nderi, the Committee Chairperson during the visit.
“ The ORPP see a lot of potential in you. Please remember to support your former primary school that fronted you to ORPP, the family and community while in school and after school”, advised Beatrice Amollo, a member of the Committee who has been instrumental in coordinated the prgramme from its inception.
The family, including Warren’s grandparents and other relatives were delighted of the visit, noting the sponsorship was life-changing as they would not have managed to educate Waren in a good secondary school.
The “Adopt, Educate and Mentor” (AdEM) initiative was launched in November 2022. It aims to provide education and mentor-ship to student Warren Kirai throughout his academic journey. Over the past two years, Warren has shown significant progress in his studies and behavior.
