ORPP staff gets Registrar’s “treat”, deliberates on productivity, performance and corporate culture

The Registrar, Ann Nderitu, CBS in the afternoon of 9th October, hosted staff to evaluate the customer service experience, performance, and culture of the ORPP, aiming for enhanced service delivery.

“Today, I commend all staff for their efforts in establishing the Registrar and ORPP as a national reference institution, contributing significantly to democracy and governance. We lead in numerous areas among our continental peers. It is essential that we continue to improve our service offerings within our specialized operational domains,” the Registrar stated while outlining various policy guidelines for the team.

Assistant Registrars Ali Abdullahi and CPA Florence Birya, who emphasized the importance of regularly convening similar sessions to collectively assess feedback from both internal and external stakeholders and to identify areas for improvement across different functions. “Let us celebrate our achievements daily and embody our core values to meet the expectations of both internal and external customers,” remarked CPA F. Birya.

“The ORPP is recognized for its positive culture of excellence, productivity, collaboration, and team spirit, which we must continue to uphold,” Assistant Registrar Ali Abdullahi added, urging for ongoing reviews of customer experience models to align with current demands.

The staff expressed gratitude to the Registrar for hosting the event and committed to both collective and individual efforts to elevate the ORPP’s global standing.

During the session, staff were informed about the ORPP’s healthy corporate culture and its connection to productivity, as highlighted by facilitator Patrick Gachagua from the Kenya School of Government, who noted its role in enhancing human capital productivity and effectively fulfilling the organization’s mandate.

This session was part of the ORPP’s observance of Customer Service Week, held from October 7 to 11, under the theme “Above and Beyond.”
