The Office has once again been honored for its unwavering commitment to fostering inclusion, equity, and accountability in its operations. During the 7th National Diversity and Inclusion Awards & Recognition (DIAR Awards) held on March 7, 2025, ORPP was celebrated for its exemplary service delivery. The Award attracted a diverse array of entrants under the theme: ‘Awarding Investors in People, Planet Guardians, and Champions of Prosperity for Posterity’. The event held at the Sarit Centre in Nairobi, celebrated the efforts of various stakeholders in creating inclusive, equitable, and sustainable environments within their organizations and the broader Kenyan society.
The Office was awarded ‘Best Statutory Authority on Equitable Allocation of Resources and Opportunities’. For over five consecutive years, the Office of the Registrar of Political Parties has maintained this prestigious accolade, reflecting its dedication to fair resource distribution and equal opportunity provision.
Registrar of Political parties, Dr. Ann Nderitu, CBS, led the ORPP delegation at the Awards Gala Dinner. In her remarks, she reaffirmed ORPP’s commitment to enhancing inclusion and promoting democracy, emphasizing ongoing efforts in capacity building and the development of training materials for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), youth, women, minorities, and marginalized groups within political parties.
In addition, ORPP received Certificates of Recognition in Best Statutory Commission and Authority on:
- Good Governance, Transparency, and Accountability: Acknowledging ORPP’s steadfast commitment to ethical practices and openness in its operations.
- Ethnic Representation: Highlighting efforts to ensure diverse representation within the organization.
