Registrar of Political Parties, Ms Sophia Sitati, held deliberations with Counselor Sun Yinam and Xie Zheng, Third Secretary at the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Kenya. The engagement focused on sharing insights into the mandate and operations of the ORPP, particularly in the registration, regulation, and oversight of political parties within Kenya’s multiparty democratic framework.
The engagement is part of ORPP’s focused discussions to broaden its stakeholder pool on themed areas of focus, while adhering to applicable laws and engagement protocols established in the ORPP’s Partnership and Engagement Framework.
