ORPP Issues 34th Certificate of Provisional Registration to Ufanisi Kenya Party

The Registrar of Political Parties issued the 34th Certificate of Provisional Registration to the founding members of Ufanisi Kenya Party (UPK), after the party met the requisite legal provisions.

Registrar of Political Parties, J.C. Lorionokou, presided over the issuance at the ORPP headquarters, and urged the founding members to uphold the values and principles on which the party was established.

“I encourage UPK’s founding members to foster unity, strengthen internal democracy, and avoid internal disputes that undermine your party’s growth and stability,” the Registrar advised.

The head of Registration, Locha Ekurudi, whose department coordinated the event, emphasized to the party founders the need to adhere to due process as they move to the next stage of full registration, while maintaining proper party records.

“As a provisionally registered party, take note of November as the statutory deadline for meeting registration requirements, if you intend as a party to participate in the upcoming General Election,” Locha guided.
