ORPP conducts three parties’ offices verification in their bid to full registration

The ORPP conducted a verification exercise for the Freedom and Opportunity Party (FOP), the Forum for Economic Development Agenda (FEDA), and the United National Congress (UNC) as part of the process of assessing their applications for full registration.

The exercise was conducted by various teams from 21st and 26th June 2026. The exercise sought to confirm compliance with Section 7(2)(f)(ii) and (iii) of the Political Parties Act, Cap. 7D, which requires political parties applying for full registration to maintain a functional head office and county offices in more than half of Kenya’s counties. Setting up of functional head and county offices is part of the requirements for provisionally registered parties’ progression to full registration.
