Today, the FY2026/27 and medium-term budget preparation process was officially launched at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC). The event was graced by several key figures, including the Registrar of Political Parties, Sophia Sitati, who joined stakeholders in marking this significant phase in Kenya’s fiscal planning.
A key highlight of the launch was the notable growth of Kenya’s GDP, which has recorded a 5.3% increase driven primarily by a strong performance in the agriculture sector. This signals a positive trajectory in the country’s economic recovery and resilience.
