RPP and team briefs,engages CS Treasury on its priority areas

27 August, 2025: Registrar of Political Parties, Sophia Sitati, together with Assistant Registrar CPA Florence Birya and the ORPP team, held a consultative meeting with the Cabinet Secretary for National Treasury and Economic Planning, Hon. FCPA John Mbadi, EGH.

The discussions focused on the status of political party registration and compliance, as well as ORPP’s preparedness for the upcoming November by-elections. The team also highlighted the Office’s resource requirements to effectively implement key priority programmes in the coming months.

In his remarks, CS Mbadi commended the ORPP fraternity for its milestones in strengthening Kenya’s political landscape. He further pledged support to the Office and political parties in advancing the growth of a vibrant multi-party democracy.

This collaboration marks a significant step toward ensuring credible elections, compliance, and inclusivity in Kenya’s democratic journey.
