Productivity mainstreaming capacity building sessions

The Office continues to intensify efforts to integrate productivity in its operations as part of institutional improvement initiatives.

To support this effort, senior staff participated in a hands-on productivity mainstreaming capacity-building programme that took place from 16th to 20th February 2026. The training was facilitated by the National Productivity and Competitiveness Centre under the Public Service Commission of Kenya.

Speaking during the sessions, Registrar J.C. Lorionokou encouraged staff to fully participate and maximize the learning opportunities presented by the training.

“I encourage all of us at ORPP to engage fully and maximize the learning experience as we gain insights from experts on this important subject,” he said.

The sessions aimed to equip staff with knowledge and skills across the full spectrum of productivity management, including the development of productivity frameworks, use of applicable performance matrices, and implementation of practical measures to enhance efficiency in institutional processes.

The initiative is expected to strengthen the Office’s commitment to responsive and efficient service delivery in line with its 2025–2028 Strategic Plan.
