The Office of the Registrar of Political Parties (ORPP), through its Political Parties Capacity Building Department, conducted a training programme for political party agents in Ol Kalou, Nyandarua County, ahead of the Ol Kalou Constituency Parliamentary By-election held on 16 July 2026. The training was part of ORPP Strategic Plan-sanctioned role in supporting political parties’ participation in elections.
In the programme, party agents of the parties fielding candidates United Democratic Alliance (UDA), Jubilee Party (JP), People’s Renaissance Movement (PRM), Democracy for Citizens Party (DCP), People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Federal Party of Kenya (FPK), National Liberal Party (NLP), Party of National Unity (PNU), and Kenya Moja Movement (KMM) were trained.
During the training, ORPP Compliance Officer Loserian Tukei emphasized the critical role of party agents in safeguarding the integrity and accountability of the electoral process.
