New look for 3 offices- Machakos, Kisumu and Mombasa as refurbishment project concludes

The Office has partitioned its three regional offices of Machakos , Kisumu and Mombasa, a project that has run in May and has been successfully completely June, 2025 as per project timelines.

The works as per requirements of setting up government offices, were spearheaded by Technical Officers (Engineers) from the State department of Public Works, Ministry of Lands, Public Works , Housing and Urban Development. The officers provide technical assistance including the architectural designs and all related works.

The works have been undertaken by procured contractors.

The project (three offices) was implemented by a Project Implementation Team (PIP) constituted by the Registrar . It is headed by Head, Administration, Jane Kamau with membership comprising Director Finance and Accounting Services, and departmental heads of Field Services Coordination, Corporate Communication, Accounting Services and ICT with ground support of respective Field Coordinators.

 “The Office truly appreciates the continued technical support from Public Works and appreciates the contractors for quality services undertaken in the detailed bill of quantity for each project”, said Ms Kamau.

“The new look offices should spur better services to the citizens in the regions within the procedures of field services and ORPP standards”, urged J. Ngala head of Field Services Coordination.

The project is implemented in such projects are undertaken in phases; commencing with site handover (to the contractor), a series of joint site inspections  and eventual hand over back to ORPP upon verification that the works have been carried out to the scope specified in the document.

The three offices have also been duly branded in line with ORPP branding guidelines. They add into  5 other offices recently partitioned, branded and launched with the recent launch being Kitale office held on 28th February, 2025.
