Grassroots responsive services and strengthening coordination between headquarters and field offices were the focus of a leadership visit to the ORPP Garissa-based field office held on 3 July 2026.
The Registrar of Political Parties J.C. Lorionokou, led the leadership team engagement with the Garissa-based team to assess service delivery, review operational progress and discuss practical strategies for improving the Office’s services in the region.
Assistant Registrar CS Agatha Wahome emphasized the importance of maintaining high operational standards, improving coordination between headquarters and regional offices, and ensuring adequate resources to enhance efficiency. The leadership also met with North Eastern Regional Coordinator John Otieno to discuss closer collaboration between the National Government Administration and ORPP in promoting civic education, democratic governance and peaceful political participation.
