Forty-Seven Voices Congress Party is the latest to be issued with a provisional registration certificate today at the ORPP headquarters office bringing the total number of provisional registered parties to seventeen (17) .
While presenting the certificate, Registrar of Political Parties, Ann Nderitu, CBS, commended the party’s leadership for successfully navigating the initial stages of registration. She urged them to fully comply with the timelines and requirements outlined in the Act as they work toward full registration.
“You must now adhere to the set timelines and ensure your party’s policies and ideologies are widely understood and inclusive,” said the Registrar, emphasizing the importance of inclusive leadership and embracing diverse views.
Deputy Director Registration, Locha Erukudi, provided detailed guidance to the party officials on the next steps for achieving full registration, including permissible political activities during the provisional phase.
Party officials expressed gratitude to the ORPP for its support and affirmed their commitment to completing the registration process in strict adherence to the law.
