The ORPP, convened and spearheaded discussions of the Political Parties National Steering Committee in a meeting, 5th to 8th October 2025, Kenya School of Government, Embu.
Key matters on deliberations were review and adoption of the Committee for the FY 2025/2026 budget and work plan, among other plans.
The Assistant Registrar, Ali Abdullahi, appreciated the Steering Committee for the continued engagement, reaffirming ORPP’s continued support to its programmes, including the By-elections scheduled in November 2025.
“We appreciate the milestones and achievements of the Steering Committee, especially in their involvement in national duty and discourse such as constitution IEBC, voter registration drive, scheduled By-elections, governance areas, political parties management and electoral matters” added Assistant Registrar Ali.
The sessions further focused on the preparation of the end-of-term report and explored mechanisms for enhanced coordination amongst PPLC tripartite partners – ORPP, IEBC and political parties.
During the session, the ORPP team spread the cheer to party representatives as part of customer service week commemorations as an appreciation of their continued cooperation with the Office.
The engagement was coordinated by ORPP’s Partnership and Resource Mobilization department.
