The ORPP Head of Legal and Advisory Services, Wafula Wakoko, and the Head of Internal Audit and Assurance, Ms. Andia Khaseke, represented the Office at the 3rd Annual Regulatory Authorities and Agencies Conference, 6th to 8th May 2026, at SEKU, Kwa Vonza, Kitui County.
The conference drew participation of top government officials, including Principal Secretaries, Board Chairpersons, Chief Executive Officers, Senior Officers, and governance experts, to deliberate on collective mechanisms for strengthening regulatory effectiveness, institutional accountability, coordination, and citizen-centred public service delivery in their respective entities.
The forum, which ran on the theme “Consistent Measurement and Evaluation of Real Regulatory Impact on the Ground,” also provided a platform for sharing experiences, milestones, and best practices for service delivery by public institutions.
The ORPP participated as Kenya’s political parties regulatory body, which has made effort to position Kenya as a benchmark across African peers through a collaborative and consultative regulatory model.
