New staff matriculated urged to uphold ORPP service standards

The ORPP held an orientation for newly appointed staff on 3rd June 2025. The meeting was for their understanding of the mandate, structures and operations of various functions of the Office.

Registrar of Political Parties, Ann Nderitu, CBS, welcomed the new team members and encouraged them to embrace ORPP’s values and uphold its governance standards, “I urge you to understand our strategic focus areas and adhere to our operational standards  in line with public service structures,” she said, emphasizing the importance of contributing meaningfully and safeguarding the institution’s reputation.

Assistant Registrar, Ali Abdullahi, congratulated the new staff on their appointment and encouraged them to fully embrace their roles. “Understand our culture, uphold our standards, and actively participate in the implementation of ORPP’S mandate,” he said, highlighting the importance of living the organization’s core values.

Sessions in the orientation programme included briefing son mandate and functions, organizational structure, political party registration processes, field services, HR policies, and the ORPP service delivery charter, among other key areas. The session was coordinated by the Human Resource Department.
