Management matriculates Registrar and Assistant Registrar , shares good governance practices

The Management conducted an internally-driven induction of newly appointed Registrar and Assistant Registrar,10th to 14th November,2025 and exercise held with the of the Oslo Center.
The sessions were presided by serving Assistant Registrars ,CPA Florence and Ali Abdullahi.
In the sessions, functional heads briefed the new Registrar and Assistant Registrar on the functions, achievements, focus areas for the FY 2025/26 and interventions to challenges experienced for their respective dockets .
The sitting also provided an opportunity to undertake an institutional-wide assessment of the progress made for departments in line with ORPP 2025-2028 Strategic Plan while re-alignment priorities to prevailing and projected operational realities.
The ORPP Plenary and Management team during the induction of Registrar J.C. Lorionokou and CS Agatha Wahome held at Elmer Resort in Naivasha.
“This is an opportunity to forge ahead, building on massive strides we have made as ORPP such as embracing technology in Office processes, development of ORPP and party policy guidelines and a competent pool of professionals .We need to demonstrate value to the country’s needs through the various roles in our dockets”, urged CPA Florence Birya.
“We must continue to focus on excellence in service delivery which must be intentional, driven by sincere efforts and executed with requisite intellect. We must continue dissecting our cultures and processes to be aligned and alive the stakeholder expectations in line with the Office mandate”, Assistant Registrar Ali urged while emphasizing the need for broader thinking of programmes in departments.
The new Registrar and Assistant Registrar appreciated the opportunity to be apprised of the departments on-goings and interact with departmental heads as well as openly formulate practical interventions to forge the Office ahead.
 To be a model regulator as ORPP aspires, we must continue demonstrating points of excellence in our services including implementing programmes for supporting political parties to strengthen internal democracy and entrenching ideologies as well as citizens’ political-bound engagements, said Registrar J.C. Lorionokou.
” This is a moment to learn and share forward-looking perspectives towards strategic interventions and innovative ways including leveraging on tech opportunities and embracing holistic risk assessment within ORPP”, said the new Assistant Registrar Agatha Wahome.In the sessions ,the leadership and management also received transformative reflections and experiences from the 3 previous Registrars of Political Parties as a recollection from their respective tenure at ORPP.
Key interventions relating to statutory, policy and operational improvements were identified during the sessions to be actioned by responsible heads
