It accorded stakeholders an avenue to apprise the state of affairs, share lived experiences, and devise strategies to mitigate and cope with mental health predicaments for women in various political spaces.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"en-US\">\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">Leading the ORPP charge, Assistant Registrar of Political Parties CS Agatha Wahome shared ORPP&#8217;s<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> contribution towards the attainment of gender equality in political parties and a raft of proposals to enhance inclusion in political parties and the electoral process, as borne by varied stakeholders.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"en-US\">\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">Mental health experts and participants shared experiences bordering on mental health as well as reflections on psych-social support and other interventions to confront broader challenges of women&#8217;s participation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"en-US\">\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">The participation aligns with the <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">ORPP<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">agenda to promote inclusion and meaningful involvement of women and other special groupings in party leadership and other affairs of political parties.<\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On 29th October 2025 in Nairobi, ORPP was part of stakeholder discussions in a Centre for Multiparty Democracy\u00a0forum- Gender Shared Learning-a Mental Health Approach. \u00a0The forum comprised various discussants drawn from political management duty-bearing entities and mental health experts.
