Ms. Sophia Sitati Assumes Role as Acting Registrar of Political Parties.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Office of the Registrar of Political Parties (ORPP) has welcomed the appointment of Ms. Sophia Sitati as the Acting Registrar, effective 14th July 2025.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Outgoing Registrar Ms. Ann Nderitu, CBS, formally introduced her successor to members of the Management and staff at ORPP Headquarters in Nairobi. Ms. Nderitu briefed the incoming Registrar on key policy milestones and ongoing strategic priorities, in line with the institution\u2019s 2025\u20132028 Strategic Plan.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou are joining a well-established institution with robust systems and a competent team,\u201d noted Ms. Nderitu. \u201cI urge you to build on our gains while upholding the Office\u2019s core values and staying attuned to the evolving needs of political parties and stakeholders.\u201d<\/p>\n

In her remarks, Ms. Sitati expressed commitment to the ORPP mandate, stating, \u201cI am honoured to join a grounded and reputable institution. I look forward to working with the team to advance a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.\u201d<\/p>\n
