During the International Women’s Day commemorations, the Registrar of Political Parties, Ann Nderitu, CBS was honored for her advocacy in promoting women’s inclusion and empowerment. In her remarks while receiving the award at KICC on 7th<\/sup> March, 2025, the Registrar expressed gratitude for the recognition as a trailblazer in championing the rights of minorities while emphasizing the role of political parties in strengthening democracy.<\/p>\n

‘We are mandated to regulate political parties by ensuring gender equality through promoting inclusion in their governing bodies, party membership, and election candidates. We will continue pushing for the active participation of women, youth, and persons with disabilities in party activities,’ she stated.<\/p>\n
