Ms Lucy Ndungu gave a brief history of The Office of The Registrar of Political Parties (ORPP) and how the office came to be independent.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"index.php?option=com_content&amp;view=article&amp;id=52&amp;Itemid=170\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" title=\"Click link to read more on the history of ORPP\">Click link to read more on the history of ORPP<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cORPPs history cannot be overlooked, let\u2019s keep the history and value the fact that Kenyans are resilient, and we can make it, no matter how difficult the situation is.\u201d \u2013 Ms Lucy Ndungu<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"images\/SGandPPLCmeetingnewregistrar\/DSC_5740.jpg\" alt=\"DSC 5740\" width=\"3745\" height=\"2480\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Thereafter, Ms Ann Nderitu gave a brief history of her professional experience and her agenda which is to strengthen political parties and promote an inclusive and viable democratic multi-party system in Kenya.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRegardless of the situation, I will work with commitment, diligence, and passion. The Office of the Registrar of Political Parties is looked unto by many stakeholders to shape the politics of the country.
