The women national officials in political parties in the forum were engaged in various ways of ‘Harnessing Digital Technology for Political Participation, Influence, and Online Safety Ahead of the 2027 General Election.<\/p>\n
The captivating session demonstrated practical lessons on the use of digital platforms in political engagement, communication, voter outreach, and leadership, with a deeper ‘dive’ into the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in modern political processes. Participants were further guided on appropriate tools for content creation, research, stakeholder engagement, and tapped into real-time insights for decision-making.<\/p>\n
The discussions highlighted positive use of emerging tech such as AI in reshaping political participation and creating new opportunities for leaders to connect with citizens more effectively, as well as potential threats such as cyber threats, misinformation, and Tech-facilitated Gender Based Violence (TFGBV)<\/p>\n
