From 22nd to 24th July 2024, the Office of the Registrar of Political Parties (ORPP) held a high-level strategic engagement between the Acting Registrar, Ms. Sophia Sitati, Assistant Registrars, and Heads of Department (HoDs). The forum provided a valuable platform for orienting the Registrar on departmental functions and aligning key priorities for the 2025\/2026 Financial Year (FY).<\/p>\n
The Heads of Department provided comprehensive briefs on their respective functional areas, highlighting ongoing initiatives, key focus areas for the new financial year, and strategic interventions in line with the 2025\u20132028 Strategic Focus Areas. The interaction also aimed to harmonize efforts across departments and align activities with stakeholder expectations and legal requirements.<\/p>\n
Speaking during the engagement, Registrar Sitati expressed her appreciation for the progress made across departments, stating:<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m pleased with the commendable work by departments and the gains we\u2019ve achieved as ORPP.
