El mandato de la oficina, entre otros, es regular la formaci\u00f3n, registro, y la financiaci\u00f3n de los partidos pol\u00edticos de conformidad con la Constituci\u00f3n y el estado de derecho.<\/p>\n<p>The Act is the primary legal reference for management of political parties in accordance with Articles 91 and 92 of the Constitution, which envisages well-governed political parties that respect internal democracy and their constitutional status in the Kenyan political system.<\/p>\n<p>The Political Parties Act,2011 provides that ORPP should be headed by Registrar of Political Parties deputized by three (3) Assistant Registrars. Currently, the Office is headed by the Registrar and deputized by two(2) Assistant Registrars.<\/p>\n<p>In order to effectively carry out its mandate and functions, the Office of the Registrar of Political Parties is organized into three (3) Directorates and four (4) Independent units. Each directorate is headed by an Assistant Registrar. Under the Directorates are three Departments headed by the Directors. The HR &amp; Administration Department and four independent units headed by the Assistant Director will report directly to the Registrar of Political parties<\/p>\n<p>The three directorates are<\/p>\n<p>(i) Registration and Field Services Coordination;<\/p>\n<p>(ii) Regulation and Compliance;<\/p>\n<p>(iii) Political Parties Fund, Partnerships &amp; Strategy<\/p>\n<p>The independent units are<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Internal Audit Unit;<\/li>\n<li>Supply Chain Management Unit;<\/li>\n<li>Corporate Communication Unit<\/li>\n<li>Legal Services Unit<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>La ORPP tiene una estructura org\u00e1nica encabezada por el Registrador de Partidos Pol\u00edticos, suplente de tres (3) Registradores Auxiliares. Hay cuatro (4) direcciones, a saber; Registro y Regulaci\u00f3n; Gesti\u00f3n financiera; Planificaci\u00f3n, Investigaci\u00f3n y TIC; y Gesti\u00f3n y Administraci\u00f3n de Recursos Humanos.<\/p>\n<h2>Nuestra historia<\/h2>\n<p>El viaje de la Oficina del Registro de Partidos Pol\u00edticos (ORPP) hasta convertirse en una persona jur\u00eddica est\u00e1 lleno de acontecimientos y se extiende por m\u00e1s de cinco d\u00e9cadas. Es una historia que se remonta a la preindependencia.
