The Assistant Registrar and the Heads of department, 22nd to 24th July 2024, oriented the Acting Registrar, Ms. Sophia Sitati, on their respective functional areas. They provided an interdepartmental review of the milestones achieved in the last financial year and outlined strategies for FY 2025\/2026, aligning departmental priorities with the ORPP\u2019s 2025-2028 Strategic Plan.<\/p>\n
In the three-day strategy meeting, the Heads of Department provided comprehensive briefs on their respective functional areas, highlighting ongoing initiatives, key focus areas for the new financial year, and strategic interventions in line with the 2025\u20132028 Strategic Focus Areas. The interaction also aimed to harmonize efforts across departments and align activities with stakeholder expectations and legal requirements.<\/p>\n
Speaking during the engagement, Registrar Sitati expressed her appreciation for the progress made across departments, stating:<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m pleased with the commendable work by departments and the gains we\u2019ve achieved as ORPP. We must all continue building the institution to transcend regimes and personalities.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Assistant Registrar CPA Florence Birya, who noted, \u201cSuch occasions offer us a moment to reflect and interpret legal and policy frameworks in place to grow the ORPP legacy.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
