{"id":6999,"date":"2024-10-25T14:51:35","date_gmt":"2024-10-25T14:51:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/orpp.or.ke\/?p=6999"},"modified":"2024-10-25T14:51:35","modified_gmt":"2024-10-25T14:51:35","slug":"orpp-commences-registration-of-suppliers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/orpp.or.ke\/ar\/orpp-commences-registration-of-suppliers\/","title":{"rendered":"ORPP commences Registration of Suppliers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Procurement department is in the process of processing applications for registration of ORPP suppliers for goods, works and services for FYs 2024-2025 and 2025\/26.\u00a0The process commenced with an advertisement in the My Gov pull-out (Government paper distributed by the Star newspaper) on 17<sup>th<\/sup> September, 2024 alongside ORPP website and National Treasury\u2019s portal.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0 Office through the appointed Tender Opening Committee successfully conducted bids opening on 8<sup>th<\/sup> October, 2024 at 11.00 am, being the statutory deadline set in the initial tender notice.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to the opening, the Tender Opening Committee held a planning meeting on 7<sup>th<\/sup> to deliberate and strategize on ways to conduct the exercise in line with section 92 (2) of the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act, 2015.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c I thank you for the commitment and support to the Procurement department in this exercise.
