The training was aimed at building knowledge capacity for the Agents theoretical and practical grasp of their roles and responsibilities on the poll day.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 8pt;\"><em><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"images\/training.jpg\" alt=\"training\" width=\"400\" height=\"246\" style=\"margin: 10px auto; display: block;\" title=\"Tana River County Chief party Agents during the training session in Tana river on 29th July 2022\" longdesc=\"Tana River County Chief party Agents during the training session in Tana river on 29th July 2022\" \/><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 8pt;\"><em><b>Tana River County Chief party Agents during the training session in Tana river on 29th July 2022<\/b><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the sessions, issues of one agent, one party representation and Agents accreditation by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/IEBCKenya?__cft__%5b0%5d=AZVs4xA5sgyxzNWzvccNJkFXguO6g_cu7Hq5gi8WQxqvUbWJPhgKPl3sqClIchUXWqF3CjzqfwLJDJ1a9upRVrJcJVtvtNu6-tt9wUV8iRuGd2McGcW5157_iWCAtmwHhXLX1DuYmQ7ZGJvrNh5EzPxnpOvDvC4nz0TNWvMtJ2p-3g&amp;__tn__=-%5dK-R\">Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC)<\/a> were among other topical issues that were deliberated and clarified by ORPP officers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Through these trainings the Office seeks to help Agents to effectively participate in the polling processess that will enhance credibility and transparency of the election.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;As party agents, you need to understand qualities and scope of responsibility, key in promoting free, fair and credible election as Constitution of Kenya, 2010 so demands&#8221;, it was noted in one of the sessions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The trainers were expected to train further the Constituency and Polling station Agents within their party structures.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Agents were also supplied and guided on the use of; Elections Agents&#8217; Manual, 2022; The Quick Guide for Party\/Candidates; Agents\/Candidates Checklist and the Political Parties Source Book developed by the Office as some vital information reference materials.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"images\/training2.jpg\" alt=\"training2\" width=\"200\" height=\"268\" style=\"margin-top: 15px; display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 8pt;\"><em><b>IEBC official, Ms. Jackline Saleyian makes her presentation to Kajiado chief political party Agents&nbsp; in Ongata&nbsp; Rongai, Kajiado County<\/b><\/em><\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ORPP spearheaded a three day training of the political parties&#8217; Agents in 15 clustered counties across the country from 27th -29th July, 2022.
